1. REGISTRATIONS: All registrations are due by the
deadline. Registrations received after the deadline will be charged a $10 late fee. The "last day for entries"
is the absolute last day registrations will be taken to guarantee a spot on a team. All registrations after the "last
day for entries" will only be placed on teams if needed to even teams up. If all teams are equal, they will be
put on a list and added only if there is enough to add one to each team in that division.
2. COACH SELECTION: All parents are encouraged to volunteer as a coach for their childs
team. All the ones that sign up to be a head coach will be randomly drawn to secure head coaches for all the teams in
that division. If more coaches sign up than are needed for the number of teams, they will be randomly drawn, i.e.
if we have 4 teams and 6 coaches sign up, the first four drawn will be the head coach and the other two will be randomly drawn
to be assistant coaches. We do not allow coaches to hand pick their assistants (if they both have kids in the program).
If you have an assistant coach in mind that does not have a kid in the program, you are more than welcome to have them as
an assistant coach. This is a fair way to insure that teams will be evenly divided and to avoid "stacking"
teams.
3. TEAM SELECTION: "Blind Pick"
:All participants will be rated on ability, work ethic, and reliability. The players sign up forms will be placed in
the appropriate piles according to their rating. At this point, the fliers are turned upside down and drawn by the coaches
to the point that all teams are as close as possible to even. The coaches do not see the names of the participants until
they draw them to be on their team.
